Once again Mercury is retrograde. Happens all the time; well three times a year. It’s a time to listen, to sort, to step back and let the river flow. Old patterns as well as old friends can wash up. It’s also a time when the trickster is afoot and it’s easy as pie to misplace or misunderstand something. Here is what i wrote at our Mercury Retrograde Blog
It’s a two part story; part revelation, part confrontation. We can expect a learning curve which hits a fiery moment when Mercury conjuncts Uranus on the 18th. If not now, when? Seems to rule the moment. On the 23rd the energy shifts. We move into a less demanding and more poetic mentality. We do best when we listen to our inner promptings – not because we have to act on them but simply to know what motivates our behavior. Look for opportunities to let go of old patterns even as you appreciate the wise survival instinct in them on the 29th. On the 4th of April when Mercury goes direct (and for a few days before and after that) there is a tension between the ardent desire to express our individuality with a profound awareness of the vastness of time and the relentless way it swallows history. All things pass yet they are so amazingly distinct while they are here and happening. Hold your identifications lightly and don’t get lost in the world.
