Insights for the Month of Sagittarius
November 22nd
Sun enters Sagittarius 10:45 AM EST
Sagittarius: The arrow is aimed to hit the mark. The arrow of opinion never doubts itself. It hits the mark at a high cost. The arrow of truth flies through the air aimed only at the target that can receive it; knowing that truth is relative to the moment. Opinions make the world smaller, truth does indeed set us free. And most of the time it is up to each of us to figure out which kind of arrow has been loosed upon the world.
November 23rd
Venus opposite Uranus
The dance of relationship never gets perfected because it cannot be predicted. Love is like that. Always a risk, the best kind of risk. Never a sure thing. Might as well enjoy it.
November 24th
Mars sextile Saturn
Mercury conjunct Saturn
There are opportunities to understand the way things are. There are people working hard to really know what they know. Focus.
November 25th
Full Moon: 03 degrees Gemini 05:44 PM EST
Mercury square Neptune
Mercury sextile Mars
Here in the northland there is so much more time in the night now than the day. The Full Moon lights up our more of our world reminding us to weigh truth against information. It is the challenge of our age. Energetic con artists prance boldly in the streets enticing us to believe in promises that have no substance.
November 26th
Saturn square Neptune
This is a major theme which seems to have taken hold since November 13th. It will be around until September, 2016. On one hand it tells the story of the bloodbath in Paris. On the other hand it’s about faith. The intersection of beliefs which can be articulated with those that can’t be defined. Do you believe in magic? Fairies? Love? Peace? Anything?

The best healing comes with wisdom. Sometimes it seems that this is what we are here for. Healing the outrages and wounds that are so common on this earth.

Sun conjunct Saturn
As if to underscore the issues of the day, the collective will, as experienced by each of us individually, is called upon to define what it believes in a world that seems headed toward chaos. It is easy to be overwhelmed but there is also the possibility to step into the standoff between our assumptions (Sun and Saturn in Sagittarius) and a world dissolving right beneath our feet (Neptune in Pisces): To be the change as they say.
December 1st
Mercury trine Uranus
Some kind of revelation is at hand. A flame of insight, a radical vision of truth. Stay calm. It will be tested on …
December 4th
Mercury square Jupiter
Venus enters Scorpio
when our pure insight meet with distractions and annoying details. The great visionary, William Blake said: “Everything to be imagined is an image of truth”. Hold to your image of truth even if it is not perfected on the ground just yet.
The goddess of love slides into the pressure cooker for a while. No one is to be trusted if you cannot trust yourself.
December 6th
Sun sextile Mars
Mars square Pluto
As profoundly as we want the good guys to win, we cannot ignore the oxymoron of fighting for peace; of trying to win peace with war. This issue might just be our evolutionary edge as humans. Either, clever as we are, we have come to a stalemate or we create another option besides battle because it’s a crying shame to lose so many lives because we cannot think outside the metaphorical box of war as an image of truth.
December 8th
Sun trine Uranus
The fiery spirit of truly righteous (not self-righteous or exclusive) change is afoot. Only for a day but it is the shape of things to come late in 2016 and into 2017. Visionaries and artists are the vanguard of change.
December 9th
Mercury enters Capricorn
A time to apply focused thinking to the somewhat dire need for sustainability of your world. Our world. The world.
December 10th
Mars opposite Uranus
If war is not the metaphor to carry us into the future, what is? A day to think on your feet; mindful of the tendency to overreact.
December 11th
New Moon: 19 degrees Sagittarius: 05:29 AM EST
Venus trine Neptune
Hold wisely to your truth. How can you do this while respecting the limits of matter? We can all practice the difference between self-righteous (sanctimonious, holier-than-thou, self-satisfied, smug, priggish, complacent, pious, moralizing, preachy, superior, hypocritical) and simply righteous (“good, virtuous, upright, upstanding, decent, ethical, principled, moral, high minded, law-abiding, honest, honorable, blameless, irreproachable, noble”.)

The perfectionists are on the loose. Unfortunately they don’t look for perfection in creation, as in the setting sun or the silver sliver of light that will appear soon in the western sky. They look for imperfection; the dust bunnies and the wrinkles. They are like little Kay in the Show Queen who gets the shard of goblin glass in his eye. Lucky for us all there is a kind of common sense at work that fears not the imperfections and has total confidence in the ability to use the terrain to create the next great work.
December 17th
Venus sextile Pluto
Intensity carries the moment. There are opportunities for greater intimacy if we trust our feelings. If finance is your game it’s a perfect day to move the resources of others (or your own) to the most optimal location.
December 19th
Mercury conjunct Pluto
More intensity. Focused thinking. Obsession can be the mother of change. As long as you don’t try to force it on others. No matter how it seems, nobody truly agrees with an idea if they were forced into it.
December 20th
Mercury square Uranus
Speaking of force… It seems that too many people or ideas are converging and creating a kind of explosive pressure. Measure freedom against structure. It might not resolve itself easily but it’s the measuring that counts, not the resolution.
Autumn’s end.
