So I’m guessing if you have come to this page what you want is information on what the Transit of Venus might mean to you or the world in which you live. It is what we all want from astrology. And it is what astrology is all about: Interpretation!
All Venus Retrogrades (including this one) have five parts: Shadow, Retrograde Evening star, Venus disappears from the sky, Venus returns as the morning star (still retrograde), and the exiting shadow.
Venus entered the shadow as of April 12th. This period lasts until May 15th. You can see Venus up in the sky if you look toward the west after sunset. It’s bright enough to seem like an airplane. This is the set up. We are simply aware (or unaware) of what we think we want. Take note of your desires.
Venus will do Her dance in the sign of Gemini. Gemini is always about the mind. It can be flighty and distracted and play the Trickster but it is also the Magician. In this first stage you get to observe if you are darting hither and yon chasing the elusive butterfly of the moment for no reason other than it moves or if you partake of the Magician who pulls together the hither and the yon to create reality.
Take special heed of this Venus journey if you are a Gemini, Virgo, Pisces or Sagittarius or if you have these signs prominent in your natal chart.
If you would like to participate in a day of honoring the Venus Transit you can see more about it here.
May 2nd is the end of the ‘early bird’ sign up period.
